Mission
Founded by Mente Wester in 2020 during the COVID pandemic, SoftShackleShop started from a personal need to create reliable, high-quality soft shackles. What began as a personal project quickly turned into a passion for developing durable, precision-made Dyneema® products.
"While experimenting with making my own soft shackles, I realized how difficult it was to maintain consistent size and quality. This challenge led me to specialize in crafting products that not only maintain uniformity with every piece, but also offer superior performance."
The Story
SoftShackleShop was born out of my love for sailing and a desire to improve the tools we use on the water. I spent countless hours developing, testing, and refining each product to meet the demands of real-world use. Before introducing them to the market, I rigorously tested my products on various ships, constantly improving their design and durability based on hands-on experience.

Today, our products are sold in multiple stores, where they’ve earned a reputation for their unmatched quality and sleek design. Many of our retail partners have replaced their existing brands with SoftShackleShop’s offerings due to their reliability and visual appeal.
